Shine a light Kingscliff

We are so thankful to each and everyone of you for your support. Our first Shine a Light was so successful. Thank you for taking time out of your weekend to walk with us, it means a great deal to us. In loving memory of our beautiful Matty and all those who have suffered from lung cancer and lung disease ❤️

Update

Hi everyone,  just 4 weeks to our Shine a light walk! If you registered to walk and have raised $100, your t-shirt will be sent to you after Oct 16th. I'm not sure if the lantern is being sent at the same time or if they are all being sent to me to be handed out on the day of the walk.
If anyone else in your family is walking with you on the 9th, please register them as council requires numbers for insurance. You do not have to donate to register to walk. 
After the walk everyone is welcome to stay back for a free Sausage Sizzle. All dietary requirements will be catered for 😊

What an great bunch of caring family and friends, you all are. 
Always remembering our beautiful Matthew and all who have passed or are suffering from this disease. ♥️

We lost our beautiful son, brother and partner to lung cancer on 20th April, 2023. We want to raise funds to fight this horrible disease, so others do not have to suffer like Matty did. He was only just 38 and left behind a young family

Scientific breakthroughs can take years to accomplish but every dollar makes a difference to the lives of people impacted by lung cancer. Alongside research, practical support is just as critical, so we empower people living with lung cancer to make informed choices about treatment and management, through Lung Foundation Australia's Lung Cancer Support Nurse service.
