Lung cancer diagnosis is devastating for anyone, but in a fit, active, healthy and vibrant 20 something uni student it is truely shocking and unexpected - a mother’s worst fear, realised.
Stage 3 metastatic cancer is treatable and recoverable. The journey ahead is supported by an amazing team of health professionals but the path is long with many challenges.

Every year, the Shine a Light campaign raises funds to brighten the future for Australians living with lung cancer and provides seed funding for the best and brightest researchers to undertake projects that support discoveries towards the prevention, management and cure of lung cancer.
