At AC Stone Group, we're deeply committed to supporting the health and safety of those working in our industry. That's why we're proudly raising funds for Lung Foundation Australia to support critical research, advocacy, and care for those affected by silicosis, a devastating and entirely preventable occupational lung disease. Over 600 Australian workers have been diagnosed with accelerated silicosis with recent years, many under the age of 35.
As members of the stone and construction industry, we see first-hand the risks workers face when exposed to respirable crystalline silica. When inhaled, this dust can cause silicosis, an incurable lung disease that can lead to lifelong disability or premature death.
Together, we can raise awareness and help prevent further tragedies in our industry. Every dollar helps protect lives.
