Lung cancer is Australia’s biggest cancer killer.
This week makes it 5 years since my diagnosis. Only 7% of people with stage 4 lung cancer make it to 5 years. It’s not enough.
I will walk with my lantern because when Charlotte asks me if I will help her look after her babies when she has them I want to be able to say yes.
Lung cancer sucks. The stigma around it sucks. The amount of people dying from it sucks. The lack of funding for research sucks. We need, and can do better. We have a long way to go.
