In Loving Memory of Dr Gurdip Singh Aurora Our beloved Dad lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and unwavering kindness. Throughout his incredible journey—from his early days in India to building a new life in Australia—he devoted himself to his family, his patients, and his community. Dad received extraordinary care from the dedicated medical teams during his health challenges, and for that, we are forever grateful. To honour his memory, our family is supporting the Lung Foundation, hoping that further research and donations can provide others with the same quality of care and support he experienced. Through his unconditional love, kindness, and joy, Dad had a way of leaving everything he touched a little better than he found it. By contributing to this cause, we hope to continue his legacy of making a difference. Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of a remarkable man who gave so much to everyone he met.

We are heartbroken at the loss of our much loved Dr Aurora ( Doc Alora to Jaryd) He was not only our family GP through 3 generations, but someone very special that felt like family to us. A kind, compassionate, gentle and selfless man who’s interest in our lives and wellbeing was always there. So many sweet little memories of our many brief encounters with him will stay with us always. We are so grateful and blessed to have known him and to be his patients since the very beginning. What a beautiful ceremony to farewell a wonderful husband , father , doctor and leader. His legacy is clearly visible in the next generation of Auroras. Positive vibes all round. Warm regards Jabbals.

Big reason why I’m alive today is because of Dr Aurora and his prompt care and help. Whilst I was in hospital he would often ask my mum how am I doing and care for my well-being physically and mentally was always more than a great doctor to our family. He allowed my brother and I to stay in his Scoresby Medical Centre during school holidays so we could be near mum and under our mum’s supervision he let us use his leisure room’s tv, snacks, fridge he didn’t have to do that whatever was in the room we were allowed to use he never once told us don’t do this don’t do that. I once asked Dr Aurora to sign a miniature cricket bat I had he asked me, “why do you want my signature?”. Maybe seeing the love he is currently receiving and understanding the impact he has had on people would have made him realise why I got his signature. He had also stiched a cut I had in my head, I was balling crying fearing the pain the stitch was going to give me Dr Aurora was the zen master whilst my mum was in the room gathering the equipment for him to do the stitch (my mum worked with Dr Aurora for many years), the stitch was painless thanks to doctor. Thank you to doctor and his wonderful family especially to Dr Arvinder who had also checked, accompanied and talked with my brother and I whilst we were in the medical centre during school holidays. She could have just focused on working but she didn’t thank you for that she might think what I’ve mentioned is a trivial matter to me it wasn’t and will forever be grateful for you and doctor’s help. May his soul rest in peace.

I have so many happy memories working with Dip and Gogi watching the 3 children growing and becoming young adults. Memories are precious gifts cherish them because no one can take them away from you. Pam
