Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month 

Your fundraising would help Lung Foundation Asutalia support a range of initiatives that improve the lives of people living with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fiborsis (IPF) today, while also investing in the research and researchers shaping the future. This includes:

• Supporting research and future researchers

• Funding two Early Career Research Fellowships each year through the CREATE Program within the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) in Pulmonary Fibrosis.
• Providing two $5,000 Pulmonary Fibrosis/Interstitial Lung Disease Research Awards each year through our Grants and Awards Program.
• Supporting early and mid-career researchers to attend international conferences, such as the International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF), through our Hope Research Fund

• Turning research into practical information

• Working alongside leading clinicians, researchers, and people with lived experience through the Translating Evidence into Practice for Diffuse Parenchymal Lung Disease (TEDS) committee.
• Together, we translate the latest evidence into trusted, easy-to-understand consumer resources, including fact sheets and booklets that are freely available on our website.

• Education and knowledge sharing

• Delivering webinars for both people living with IPF and healthcare professionals to ensure the latest evidence reaches those who need it most.
• This includes an upcoming webinar being delivered as part of the International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF) later this year.

• Supporting people living with IPF

• Working with the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis to support the delivery of our peer support program, helping people living with IPF connect with others who understand their experience
