I survived! I’m walking a bit funny……
Sunday 17th Mar Thanks again to everyone that donated, I am gobsmacked about how generous you have all been. THANKYOU so much! The hike was amazing, I don’t think I have hiked before to a peak of snow. It was magic, it was tough, it was spectacular, a challenge and very beautiful. The green, the blue, the waterfalls and rugged mountains were a sight to see. I’m glad I did it even though sore and walking funny. I am happy to have raised $$$$ for the lung foundation. In memory of my cousin Sharon and all my friends who have passed from all sorts of cancer this hike was for you. Lachie for you I sang Miley Cyrus to get me through. 🥾 ❤️ Share
Monday 11th March is M day! Milford Track.
Friday 8th Mar Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, I really appreciate it! I am in Queenstown and doing a few adventures beforehand and getting ready for the trek. This is going to be especially hard as I am coming back from an injury. Right now I feel great. I’m sure day 3 I will be feeling it as that’s the particularly hard day and by the end will be happy for my luxury accom, rest and an onsen.
