Lung disease affects 1 in 3 Australians and is the second leading cause of death.My personal version of it is idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) which is relatively rare with 2000 new diagnoses per year and about 10000 victims in total across the country. Due to new drugs and monitoring regimes survival rates have reached 50% in 5 years and even as far as 10 years.Lung Foundation Australia is the only charity in Australia providing support and a voice for people with lung disease, and is at the front of efforts to extend quality of life, including specifically IPF.

Please support me in raising funds to support patients and families impacted by lung diseases.
