I will walk with my lantern because...

I'd like to shine a light on lung cancer and show support for the community. Not everyone who has lung cancer is smoker! My grandpa passed away from lung cancer and had never smoked a cigarette in his life. Similarly, my mother in law also recently got diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and is undergoing treatment.

With your support, Lung Foundation Australia provides seed funding for the best and brightest researchers to undertake projects that support discoveries towards the prevention, management and cure of lung cancer. Scientific breakthroughs can take years to accomplish but every dollar makes a difference to the lives of people impacted by lung cancer.
