TRAIL TO TRIUMPH - ULTRA MARATHON!
​The Trail to Triumph Journey, fondly known as ‘Tony’s Journey’ was created in memory of Tony Britton who lost his battle with Mesothelioma. A rare and currently incurable cancer caused by asbestos, his son Mat Britton has since founded ‘Trail to Triumph, an annual event which tackles the arduous terrain, travelling 250 kilometres, to commemorate the life of his dad and raise funds and awareness of Mesothelioma.

I also do this in memory of my mum who passed away in 1999 and my aunty the following year. Both were lost to cancer and far too young. Losing them has become my inspiration to not let up on an opportunity to do something positive.

Trail to Triumph is a group of charitable people joining together to run an Ultra Marathon (250km) to raise much needed funds for people living with lung disease. Every dollar counts and by donating to Trail to Triumph you're helping build the awareness of lung disease and it’s severity to those affected.
