About Shine a Light
The community walks aim to raise awareness, break stigma, and provide a place of support & to remember and honour your loved ones who have been impacted by lung cancer. Join us on a community led walk to support the 15,122 Australians diagnosed every year. A lantern ceremony will be held, where you will be welcomed to share, listen & to take a moment to reflect with the lung cancer community. Register and show us how you are supporting Shine a Light on lung cancer, with one our our three lanterns.

This year, more than 15,000 Australian families will be impacted by lung cancer — our nation’s biggest cancer killer. Yet funding remains critically low. For 15 years, Shine a Light on Lung Cancer has raised vital funds for ground-breaking research and practical support.
