Monday 28th Oct Hi there. I've always loved the outdoors and adventuring. Over the past 15 years I've had many health challenges but have always managed to look on the bright side of life as there are so many others that are worse off. I've lost a few friends and family members to this disease and when I was diagnosed in 2022 I really just focused on the here and now as my main focus was my then 15 yr old daughter. Whilst going through treatment that appeared to be working, I got told I was pregnant with my 2nd child so I stopped treatment in order for a safe arrival for him. Unfortunately he passed from SIDS 4 days after birth last year although I was in remission. I've been isolating for quite awhile and decided I need to start trying to do things I love again so I thought what better way than to try and raise money for Lung cancer awareness month. No-one deserves a cancer diagnosis let alone a negative health scare. Life is about chance, so with every negative we should always try and find a positive.
