June is lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) Awareness Month, and we wanted to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to Lung Foundation Australia’s community following the merger with LAM Australia late last year.
Living with LAM Australia created a strong and deeply connected community for people impacted by LAM. We are proud to continue that legacy through Lung Foundation Australia and remain committed to ensuring the LAM community continues to feel seen, supported and heard.
To mark LAM Awareness Month, we are delighted to announce the creation of the LAM Clinical Fellowship Fund, focused on building both clinical and research capacity in LAM here in Australia.
We’re aiming to raise $50,000 to fund the fellowship that will help strengthen specialist knowledge, expertise and future care pathways for people living with this rare lung disease.
Any donation through each fundraiser from members of the LAM community will be directed to the new LAM Clinical Fellowship Fund.
