7/11/25 - Event update: With the expected heavy rain and high winds, we have unfortuantely had to make the decision to cancel the walk taking place at The Tan.
However, we will still be going ahead with a community gathering at an indoor venue at our Lung Foundation Australia Melbourne office on Saturday 8th November. Please see below updated event details.

About Shine a Light
The community walks aim to raise awareness, break stigma, and provide a place of support & to remember and honour your loved ones who have been impacted by lung cancer. Join us on a community led walk to support the 15,122 Australians diagnosed every year. A lantern ceremony will be held, where you will be welcomed to share, listen & to take a moment to reflect with the lung cancer community.
