A Journey of Discovery and Determination
Imagine a world where taking a simple breath feels like a Herculean task. For me, this was a daily reality for seven long years. Diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and Chronic Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (CHP) in 2017, my journey was a rollercoaster of uncertainty, fear, and unwavering hope.

From Misdiagnosis to Diagnosis
My story began in 2010 when I was initially diagnosed with whooping cough and pneumonia. As the years passed, my symptoms worsened, making everyday activities increasingly difficult. A persistent cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath became my constant companions.

Finding a Diagnosis and Facing the Future
Finally, in 2017, I received the diagnosis that would forever change my life: IPF and CHP. While the news was devastating, it also brought a sense of relief. The unknown had been replaced with a name, and with a name came hope.

A Community of Strength
My journey has been marked by resilience, gratitude, and a deep commitment to making a difference. I found solace and support in the IPF community, understanding that I am not alone in this battle.
