I'm fundraising for...
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness, supporting patients, promoting screening, and funding research to combat the leading cause of cancer death.
This November, I will be running The Canberra Times Half Marathon Fun Run to raise money and awareness for lung cancer — a disease that impacts far too many individuals and families every year.
I will be running and raising money to support research, improve early detection, and stand alongside those currently fighting this disease, as well as the families and loved ones affected by it.
Like so many people, I’ve seen how devastating lung cancer can be for individuals and the people who love them. It’s a disease that doesn’t discriminate, and the impact reaches far beyond the diagnosis itself.
Taking part in this run is my small way of showing support, raising awareness, and helping contribute to the research and care that can make a real difference. Every step I take will be for those who are currently fighting lung cancer, those we’ve lost, and the families carrying the weight alongside them.
If you’re able to support me with a donation, I’d be incredibly grateful. No matter the amount, every contribution helps raise awareness and fund important work towards better treatment, support services, and hopefully one day, a cure.
Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting such an important cause. Your contribution, encouragement, and generosity mean more than I can put into words.
