An event inspired by the memory of Ellen Yates who sadly lost her life to Lung cancer.

Organised by her daughter Elizabeth, the Lungraiser Charity Ball aims to address and break down the stigma associated with lung cancer and raise much needed funds for lung cancer research.

To this date, the event has raised over $80,000 for the Lung Foundation of Australia. This year, the goal is to raise over $30,000! 

Did you know lung cancer is Australia’s biggest cancer killer? Research offers hope and your support helps keep hope alive for the 15,122 Australians living with lung cancer.

Together, we can help shine a light on lung cancer and fund groundbreaking research. Every year, the Shine a Light campaign raises funds to brighten the future for Australians living with lung cancer.

With your support, Lung Foundation Australia provides funding for the best and brightest researchers to undertake projects that support discoveries towards the prevention, management and cure of lung cancer. Scientific breakthroughs can take years to accomplish but every dollar makes a difference to the lives of people impacted by lung cancer. Funds also raised provide practical support through our Lung Cancer Nurse program.
