In April 2026, I lost my Dad to lung cancer and losing him reshaped every part of my world. Quiet Truths is my way of honouring him; a collection of grief, love, and the quiet moments that stay with us long after someone is gone.
Lung cancer kills more Australians than breast, prostate, and colorectal cancer combined, yet it receives significantly less funding and public awareness. More than 12,000 Australians are diagnosed each year, and survival rates remain among the lowest of all major cancers.
Lung Foundation Australia is the leading organisation supporting Australians living with lung cancer and lung disease. They provide patient support, fund life‑changing research, and advocate for better care across the country. Their work helps families access vital information, nurse helplines, support groups, and early‑diagnosis resources, all while pushing for stronger awareness and improved survival outcomes.
To honour my Dad and support others facing this disease, 100% of profits from this book will be donated to Lung Foundation Australia.
This book will be released in e‑book format. If enough people are interested, a hardcopy version can also be made available.
